Restylane

New Jersey Restylane Treatments: Ideal Candidates

Patients with a history of skin disease or other complications, allergies to birds, are currently taking anti-coagulants, or women who are pregnant may face increased risks and should avoid Restylane treatments. Restylane treatments should be administered by a trained and experienced cosmetic surgeon in a hospital, surgical center, or medical office. Because the discomfort associated with this procedure is minor, general anesthesia is not required. The procedure usually takes less than one hour to complete and involves the application of a local anesthetic cream and a series of light injections. The results last approximately six months.
