The procedure takes approximately twenty to thirty minutes to perform, after which a patient may experience some slight temporary redness and warmth in area treated. In very rare cases a patient may experience some blistering, scabbing, or minor bleeding after a Photo Facials treatment.

In order to achieve the desired results, a patient will typically undergo five Photo Facials treatments spaced three weeks to one month apart.
