New Jersey Photo Facial Before and Afters

Photo Facial

A non-invasive, non-surgical cosmetic procedure, Photo Facial uses light pulse technology to rejuvenate facial skin. Photo Facial can safely and effectively treat sun damage and eliminate redness, capillary damage, brown spots, discoloration, large pores, and fine lines and wrinkles in the skin. The treatment is also particularly successful at improving the symptoms of Rosacea, a relatively common skin disorder characterized by visible blood vessels on the face, acne, and reddish cheeks, nose, and forehead.

The Photo Facial system was originally developed by a California dermatologist who used the light pulse technology to enhance the appearance of damaged skin. Since its inception, Photo Facial training programs have been established worldwide to train doctors and nurses in the technique.

  • Fair and elastic skin
  • Non-oily complexion
  • Minor sun damage
  • Early signs of aging

Potential patients should discuss with their surgeon what to expect before, during, and after the procedure to gain a clear understanding of the associated risks and benefits. Photo Facial patients should also provide their physician with a full medical history to reduce the risk of any unnecessary complications.

New Jersey Photo Facial Technique

Photo Facials do not require that a patient receive anesthesia since the treatment involves very little discomfort. However, a topical anesthetic or cooling cream may be applied prior to treatment in order to reduce any uncomfortable sensations. The procedure takes approximately twenty to thirty minutes to perform, after which a patient may experience some slight temporary redness and warmth in area treated. This typically subsides in a few days though. After only a few hours, Photo Facials patients can resume normal activities. In very rare cases a patient may experience some blistering, scabbing, or minor bleeding after a Photo Facials treatment.

In order to achieve the desired results, a patient will typically undergo five Photo Facials treatments spaced three weeks to one month apart. The cost of a Photo Facials generally ranges between five hundred and three thousand dollars depending on a variety of factors. When considering a Photo Facials treatment, it is important to remember that the procedure should only be performed by a well-trained and experienced cosmetic surgeon.
